Welcome to the website of the newly formed Sugarwood Estates Homeowners Association!

Today, 11/6/2008, we have completed and sent off our tax exempt package. It should be returned sometime early next year.

We are almost finished compiling prices from landscaping firms to renovate the gazebo entrance. Due to our limited budget, we may do the gazebo area this fall and do the other area next spring. Hopefully we will have this eyesore corrected shortly! 

We are in the planning stages of our next meeting. This meeting will be our first annual meeting. At this meeting residents can vote on issues such as the association bylaws, amount of dues, and the election of board members. The date of the meeting will be posted as soon as possible.  If you have any comments or suggestions on any of these matters please post them in our forum.

What We Look To Do

Let's face it, our homes are one of the single biggest and most important investments we make these days. The community of Sugarwood Estates contains some of the finest homes in the Houma Terrebonne area.

We are very excited to be organizing a group of concerned residents who are committed to improving and promoting the community of Sugarwood Estates.

The Sugarwood Estates Homeowners Association will be committed to the following:

• Entrance landscaping and improvements
• Parish council representation
• Promoting community relations
• Enforcing restrictive covenants
• Voicing residents' concerns
• Street and drainage maintenance
• Organizing cookouts and block parties

Dues, membership information, and organizational issues will be discussed at the first association meeting.
