Sugarwood Estates Homeowners Association

Welcome to the website of the newly formed Sugarwood Estates Homeowners Association!

    As many of you have already noticed, we have finally got the state and parish on the same page to address to street issues.  Through talking with the parish and contractor, we have discovered that the damage to the entrance was not the result of a broken or detached culvert.  It seems that the original materials used on our streets were substandard.  While the major issue is being addressed, all issues will be fixed.  The approximate time frame will be from 10 to 14 days from the start date.  The parish is requesting that all residents use the Sugarwood entrance to access our subdivision until the repairs are complete.  This will help to prevent any unnecessary accidents resulting from traffic going up the wrong way. We have also addressed the lighting issues throughout the subdivision.  In
 the future, if anyone has issues with street lights, please send an email with details to our vice president at vicepresident@sugarwoodestates.com .

We are all working hard to fix issues throughout our neighborhood in order to maintain and maximize the integrity of our greatest assets. Any future or current issues please forward to any of our board members, as we are all working together for the betterment of our beautiful neighborhood.

Let's face it, our homes are one of the single biggest and most important investments we make these days. The community of Sugarwood Estates contains some of the finest homes in the Houma Terrebonne area.

We are very excited to be organizing a group of concerned residents who are committed to improving and promoting the community of Sugarwood Estates.

The Sugarwood Estates Homeowners Association will be committed to the following:

• Entrance landscaping and improvements
• Parish council representation
• Promoting community relations
• Enforcing restrictive covenants
• Voicing residents' concerns
• Street and drainage maintenance
• Organizing cookouts and block parties
